Seminar III: Successful Partnerships
How to implement them across sectors, with suppliers and across departments

In today’s world, companies that have a vision of being global citizens seldom operate solo in the social and environmental realm. They find great value in engaging nonprofits, suppliers, businesses, and government agencies in cross-sector partnerships to address significant social problems, reach new markets and develop local economies.
Playing on the same team requires breaking old stereotypes and a change of attitude on the part of all partners. Effective partnering is also an “art” that requires good people and management skills, efficient processes, and well-developed tools and frameworks.
Through this seminar, you will learn what is needed to find and select the right partner, establish effective partnering relationships, and implement sustainable partnerships. Data from Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship research studies on partnerships are offered together with case studies of American and European companies.
The seminar provides participants with ample opportunities for interactive learning through exchange of experiences, small group interactions and time to apply the learning to their own situation.
