Erin Schafranek did support CCCD as a student assistant till March 2011. She is currently doing a Master of European Studies at the Europa-Universität Viadrina where she is focusing on political science and economics. Her Master’s thesis will be written on the topic of CSR in Hyderabad, India within the context of a research project relating to rural-urban relationships and renewable energy structures.

She graduated from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Development Studies and also a minor in German. During her studies at the U of W she spent one year at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg as an exchange student. After completing her Bachelor she spent two years in Germany and one year in South Korea working as an English teacher.
