Das CCCD bietet anwendungsorientierte Forschung, Fortbildung, Dialogorganisation und fachliche Expertise auf hohem professionellem Niveau.     Michael Bürsch was a Member of Parliament ( German Bundestag ) from 1997-2009. In the Parliament he was especially dedicated to supporting civic engagement. He headed the Study Commission on the “Future of Civic Engagement” from 2000 to 2002 and was Chairman of the subcommittee “Civic Engagement” during the 15th and 16th legislative period from 2003 to 2009.
